About Christine Gould
Christine Gould is an accomplished Complementary Health Therapist with over 30 years experience working in Private Practice and the National Health Service. She had many years experience as a Counsellor before training in Advanced Hypnotherapy. For seventeen years Christine was a member of a multi-disciplinary team supporting chronic pain sufferers at the Pain Relief Clinic, Northampton General Hospital (NGH). During that time Christine also introduced Reiki at Northampton General Hospital where it is still practised today - 30 years later. However, it is primarily offered to oncology patients through the Macmillan Support Service.For the past ten years Christine has been the voluntary Manager of the Dunstone Bennett Complementary Health Centre. This is part of the Facefax Association Charity which supports people in Northamptonshire affected by any type of cancer. During this time she has led a team of therapists who have supported young oncology patients and their families attending the Children’s Outpatients Department at NGH.
Christine studied with John Harvey Gray (USA) to qualify as a Reiki Master Teacher. Prior to this she served a five year teaching apprenticeship with Barbara McGregor which included travelling to London, Ireland and throughout Australia to gain Reiki Master Teacher status. Christine is also a Spiritual Healer and Cold Laser Therapist. Her background is in education, where she specialised working with children having learning, emotional and behavioural difficulties. Prior to the pandemic, Christine travelled extensively throughout the world lecturing on the power of the mind and energy healing systems. She has taught Reiki in Birmingham, London, Australia, Ireland, Canada and New Zealand and regularly conducts a range of personal development seminars in Northampton.
